Cheap day-long cruise for wedding reception?

While i really like the idea of this, i'm wondering how many people you'll be having and their ages. I can tell you as a mom that if my kids were invited (or even older folks) that putting them on a boat all day might leave them feeling trapped. There isnt really much of a way off if something should happen.
